Why is Somebody Else Getting Rich and
Famous Barbara Winter shares how she learned to think like an expert. Why is Jamie Oliver a household name and your Aunt Ruth, a fabulous gourmet, known only to her family? Why do people with expertise to share labor in obscurity while others are eagerly sought by the media, publishers and for high-paying speaking engagements? It’s not credentials, experience or luck that separates the known from the unknown. The difference is so subtle that most people miss it. And, yet, many people think that they lack what it takes to be perceived as an expert. It’s more likely that what they lack are the tools they need to start moving down this road. I want to tell you how I discovered this success secret that has made an enormous difference in my entrepreneurial life. When I began my first business, a personal development training company for women, I was completely unknown. After a few frustrating attempts to advertise my business, it occurred to me that it would be helpful if I were perceived as an expert. How was I going to do that? I had no idea. I began studying and analyzing the experts that I saw being interviewed, writing books and headlining conferences. What I discovered astonished me. No matter what field the expert was working in, the tools that they used were identical. I decided to duplicate what they were doing. Within weeks I went from being obscure to being interviewed by newspapers, radio, television and even national magazines. That led to big enrolments in my seminars, numerous subscribers to my newsletters and speaking invitations from all kinds of groups. As time went on, I kept meeting struggling entrepreneurs that I knew could use the same things I'd discovered to give their business a boost, expand beyond tiny boundaries, and use their creative ideas in bigger and better ways. Eventually, I put these ideas into a seminar which has been one of my most popular offerings. However, I always wanted to find a way to share this valuable information with others who couldn't come to a seminar. I am excited to announce that that's finally happened. Establish Yourself as an Expert has taken on a whole new form and is available to you right now, right where you are. Read on. These
